What I do . . . .
As a personal Life Coach, my aim to get the best out of people and to assist them in reaching their full potential. We all have talents and sadly, some of us never realise what they are. In a world where we are bombarded on a daily basis with information, we often lose sight of who we really are and what makes us truly happy.
I enjoy helping people clear out the ‘clutter’ in their lives, refocus on where they want to be, where they are now and formulate clear, realistic plans to enable them to achieve their objectives. Sometimes, all it takes is a fresh perspective and an objective opinion. Other times, more intensive input is required and this is when I examine thinking patterns, identify self limiting beliefs and barriers that might be limiting a person from achieving their goals.
I tend to use a holistic approach and by this I mean that I see the “bigger picture” and I am able to link up different aspects in people’s lives and understand how they impact on each other – sometimes positively, sometimes negatively. For instance, not being assertive enough could lead to interpersonal relationship problems or issues in the work environment. Not dealing with stress effectively could impact upon health, relationships and general functioning. It is all interrelated and I rarely focus on one issue without an overview of the whole life experience of a client.
